Ok...I know I'm a bit partial to my little one, but she's about the happiest little babe I know. I am so blessed to be her mother. I just wish she would stay little for a while - can't believe she's sitting already.

So I have to give props to some of my favorite vendors. First, I have to say a big thanks to Tanya over at Sugar Plum Boutique for the cutest little Romper/Headband set. It totally made the photo. They are on sale through the end of August, so check them out! And of course to Photo Prop Floors and Backdrop - this is by far my favorite backdrop (grunge) and my favorite floor (wood floor 86) - so classic. The fur is from Ecostreet, and I can't forget to thank my Mom for the pearls! Had to dig them out of the "play" jewelry at her house.

I always love photographing multiples and this was no exception, although I will say that it was probably my most challenging photo shoot to date! I definitely utilized my helpers this day :)
Since they were almost 6 weeks old, instead of my normal 5-10 days old, they of course wanted to be awake to see the action...at different times of course! Regardless, it was great to have them and they ended up doing great.

Harper 17 days new | York County Newborn Photographer

The cards seemed to be stacked against me as I pulled up to little Miss Harper's house without the one thing that every photographer needs. Yup, you guessed it - MY CAMERA!. Now on most days this wouldn't be such a big deal because I'm normally fairly close to home. But on this particular day, I was an hour from home! This could pose a problem...thankfully my wonderful husband came to my rescue. Because we kept little Harper up for almost another hour, she was so sleepy and we were able to make up all the lost time without sacrificing any shots! Thanks Kristine for being so understanding and going with the flow. I hope the pictures are worth it!

Well this is what I call a whole lot of chub! Not only was he over 10 pounds at birth (Bless you Megan!) but he was a bit older than I normally have for newborn pictures. His coloring was just perfect and his full head of hair quite adorable. He definitely likes to be held and has quite the little scream when he doesn't get what he wants - just means he's going to be a strong man someday I'm sure! Little Mya has given us a hard time in the past....she seems to know when "picture day" is and modifies her schedule accordingly. What a great family to work with! Since the Holz family are from Oxford, we decided to meet in Lancaster about half way in between. Although Anita and I had never met before, we collaborated over email so frequently that I felt like I'd known her for a long time. We met in quite the secluded place along a little stream - so much so that the boys, Roger especially, thought they might be lured into something that would later be told in a horror film. When they arrived, they found out that is was only little me...with no hatchet....just a camera! Ashley, Roger (or should I say "George"), Brandon, and Ashley were wonderful to work with and made the evening very enjoyable. They were such a nice family that when the photo shoot was over and I realized that I had locked my keys in the car, they offered to wait around with me. Anita even called AAA to inquire about unlocking vehicles, but my wonderful husband came to my rescue instead. Although it turned out to be a long evening, I think the pictures were worth it!

Lindsey and George - you are so blessed to have a healthy little baby and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of taking both your maternity and newborn photos. I had the pleasure of taking pictures of little Nathan at his home. He was so pleasant and better than anyone could expect a 6 month old to be while getting his picture taken.
